Having not held an in-person RSA Annual Meeting since March of 2019, we are delighted to announce that plans are underway for our 68th meeting, to be held in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday, 30 March 2022 through Saturday, 2 April 2022. We will hold this four-day meeting in conformity with Irish government policies and guidelines for those dates. We are in close contact with the national tourism authority, Fáilte Ireland, and the staff at many Dublin academic and cultural institutions, and we look forward to apprising our members of unique opportunities as the meeting date approaches.
Our submissions portal for Dublin 2022 will open on July 1, and the deadline for submissions is August 10. We encourage all RSA members, Discipline Representatives, and Associate Organization Representatives to familiarize yourselves with the submission guidelines. You may now post CFPs on our website.
We understand that travel to Dublin will not be possible for everyone and that is why we have decided to schedule a special RSA virtual event to be held in early December 2022. This event will have a broad theme and will feature session formats that are especially successful online, such as workshops, lightning rounds, and seminars with pre-circulated materials. Details will be announced in early 2022, with a submissions deadline in June 2022. All submissions will be vetted by the event’s program committee. Participation in the Annual Meeting in Dublin will not preclude participation in the virtual event. These programs are entirely separate.
We look forward to seeing you in Dublin in March 2022 and/or online in December 2022.
